Shiseido’s digital channels were meeting neither the demands of the customer nor the partner ecosystem. Japan’s largest beauty company was looking for an experience as prestigious and as personal as one gets in-store. As part of a three-year-long engagement, I worked on the omni-channel brand strategy, leading the creative portion of the global content strategy.
Simultaneously, I was also handling every copy-related task for the site redesign from vision statements to conceptual principles to site copy. Already launched in a few regions, as seen in the UK and Japan (International), the work is still in progress. What you will see is a clean and prestigious brand interface that enables intuitive discovery, browsing, and shopping. It was also imperative to create individualized experiences for local and cross-border shoppers, relevant to their interests and geo-location.
